The Climbing Club of Oulu (Oulun kiipeilyseura -91 ry) is organizing the FINICE2019 event: it includes Ice Climbing World Youth Championships, European Cup Finals and Finnish Championships.

Ice Climbing World Youth Championships will take place in 1st and 2nd March. The qualifications will start on Friday 1st of March at 7am, and finals take place on Saturday 2nd from 7.00am onwards. European Cup Finals are held at the next day, Sunday 3rd March. All finnish citizens compete also in the Finnish Championships (there is no separate competition, results are taken from the European Cup and World Youth Championships standings).

World Youth Championships competitors must purchase a Competitor ticket and also register via national UIAA member federation to achieve a free licence.

There are three age groups in the Word Youth Championships: Youth born in 2006-2004, 2003-2001 and 2000-1998. Two oldest groups compete in lead, yongest group competes in top rope. There is also a speed competetion. There are national quotas for the Youth Championships, six males and females to each age group (Finland as the host country has double quota)..

Youth athletes should arrive the evening before the competition (i.e. Thursday 28th of February). Ticket sale ends on Wednesday 27th of February at 5pm (EET), and it is not possible to purchase the competition ticket on-site.

Family members, coaches, friends and other spectators can purchase a climbing community ticket for the whole Finice-weekend which includes lunches at the competition venue and the side events.
